For all of you strawberry lovers out there, the 32nd annual California Strawberry Festival is live this weekend in Oxnard, California. The festival is a delicious blend of strawberry dishes and fundraising for several non-profit groups. It’s a family friendly environment that provides food, entertainment and fun.
According to a report by KHTS AM 1220, the festival will draw roughly 60,000 attendees from all over the country. The festival has increased in popularity over the last 10 years and has become a wonderful way to spend the weekend.
General admission to the festival is $12. Both seniors and military families (active) are $8 for admission. Kids ages 5-12 are $5 to get in, while kids under the age of 4 are free.
There is limited parking, which means you will want to get out there early. Parking is $10. For those who don’t find parking, you can take the Park ‘n’ Ride shuttle.
The festival location is at 3250 South Rose Ave, Oxnard, California.
There will be live entertainment, strawberry foods beyond your wildest imagination, arts and crafts, cooking demonstrations, exhibits and more. With over 50 food booths and plenty of interactive activities, this festival will be fun for children of all ages.
