National Natural Landmarks in California: Listed by County

The National Natural Landmarks program falls under the supervision of the National Parks Service. A National Natural Landmark is a location that contains spectacular biological and geological resources, immaculate beauty, diversity and possesses high value in both the scientific and educational fields.

There are roughly 586 locations listed on the National Registry of Natural Landmarks. Of those 586, roughly 35 of them are located in California.
